All services are subject to written estimates, contracts, or service agreements where applicable.

3. Estimates & Pricing

• All estimates are based on information available at the time of quoting.

• Pricing is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Material costs are subject to change based on supplier pricing.

• Hourly services are estimates and final pricing may vary based on actual labor hours required.

• Additional services requested outside the original scope of work will be billed accordingly.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice.

• Late payments may be subject to late fees.

• GMS Outdoor Services reserves the right to suspend services for non-payment.

• Customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs if payment becomes delinquent.

5. Snow & Weather-Dependent Services

Snow and ice management services are weather dependent.

• During active storms, services focus on maintaining accessibility and safety, not full site clearing.

• Final clean-up services are typically performed after the storm has concluded.

• Service timing may vary based on storm severity, duration, and route prioritization.

• Customers are encouraged to limit on-site traffic during snow events to allow crews to operate safely and efficiently

6. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting into SMS communications:

• You consent to receive service-related text messages from GMS Outdoor Services.

• Message frequency may vary.

• Message and data rates may apply.

• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

• For assistance, reply HELP or contact us directly.

• We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

SMS communication may include:

• Appointment reminders

• Service updates

• Storm notifications

• Billing notifications

• Account-related messages

 

7. Cancellations & Service Modifications

• Cancellation terms will be outlined in individual service agreements.

• Seasonal contracts may require written notice for cancellation.

• Emergency or storm services may not be cancellable once dispatched.

8. Property Access & Site Conditions

The customer agrees to:

• Provide clear and safe access to service areas.

• Mark obstacles (sprinkler heads, curbing, hidden structures, etc.).

• Remove vehicles and obstructions during scheduled service times.

GMS Outdoor Services is not responsible for damage to unmarked or concealed items.

9. Limitation of Liability

GMS Outdoor Services is not liable for:

• Delays due to severe weather or circumstances beyond our control.

• Damage caused by pre-existing property conditions.

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided.

10. Warranties

We strive to provide high-quality professional services. However:

• No guarantees are made regarding results influenced by weather, soil conditions, or factors outside our control.

• Plant material warranties (if offered) will be outlined separately in writing.

 

11. Changes to Terms

GMS Outdoor Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
